The terms that govern your use of the Speaklio app.
Last updated July 9, 2026
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Speaklio, and Speaklio is intended for working professionals. If you are using Speaklio on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so.
Speaklio supports anonymous-first sign-in, and some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your use of Speaklio is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which describes behavior that is not allowed on the platform.
The voice recordings, transcripts, and practice content you create through Speaklio remain yours. By using the app, you grant us the rights needed to store, process, and analyze that content to provide Speaklio's features back to you — including sending it to our AI model provider to generate feedback. We don't use it for any other purpose.
You are responsible for the content of what you say and record through Speaklio, and for not including confidential information you are not permitted to share.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Speaklio, you agree that we can use them to improve the app without any obligation to you. This doesn’t affect your rights over your own recordings or content, described above.
Speaklio provides AI-generated scores, coaching feedback, and model answers. These are informational and provided to support your preparation — they are not a substitute for professional speaking, career, legal, medical, or psychological advice, and Speaklio does not guarantee any particular outcome. See our AI Policy for more detail.
Speaklio offers a free tier and a paid plan, Speaklio Pro. Paid subscriptions are billed through the app store or payments provider you purchase from, on the terms presented at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and you manage or cancel them through that store or provider.
Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable. Prices and plan features may change; where they do, changes apply to future billing periods and are shown before you are charged.
Speaklio, including its software, scenarios, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of Scriptia Labs or its licensors. These terms don't grant you any rights beyond what's needed to use the app as intended.
Speaklio is currently in beta and may not be continuously available. We aim to be clear about the app's current stage, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product matures.
We may add, change, or remove features in Speaklio as the product evolves. Where a change materially affects how you use the app, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
Speaklio relies on third-party services (such as app stores, our AI model provider, and our payments provider) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties, and linking to them doesn’t mean we endorse them.
You may stop using Speaklio and delete your account at any time — see our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if these terms are violated.
Speaklio is provided "as is." We don’t guarantee that the app, including its AI-generated scores and coaching, will be error-free, accurate, or produce any particular result in a real speaking situation. Speaklio is a rehearsal and preparation aid, not a guarantee of performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scriptia Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Speaklio.
[Placeholder: our approach to resolving disputes — including whether disputes are handled through arbitration, small claims court, or another process — will be confirmed with legal counsel and added here before this document is finalized for production use.]
[Placeholder: governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed with legal counsel based on Scriptia Labs' registered entity.] These terms will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of that jurisdiction.
You may not use Speaklio if you are located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to a government embargo or sanctions restricting the use of software like Speaklio, or if you are on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
If you downloaded Speaklio from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following also applies. These terms are an agreement between you and Scriptia Labs only, not with Apple or Google, and Apple and Google are not responsible for Speaklio or its content.
Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Speaklio. In the event Speaklio fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple or Google, and they may refund the purchase price, if any, but that is their only warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, or damages are our sole responsibility, not theirs.
Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims relating to Speaklio, including product liability claims, claims that Speaklio fails to meet applicable legal or regulatory requirements, or claims under consumer protection law. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
