Hookio Acceptable Use Policy
Hookio Acceptable Use Policy
Última actualización: 6 de septiembre de 2026
General
Use Hookio lawfully and as it is meant to be used. Do not use it to break the law, to harm anyone, or to interfere with the service working for other people.
Import only documents you have the right to use. Crochet patterns are copyrighted works, and Hookio is a private reading aid for a copy you already hold.
Abuse and fraud
Do not attempt to obtain a subscription you have not paid for, exploit a billing or trial mechanism, create accounts to evade a limit or a suspension, or use Hookio in connection with fraud.
Reverse engineering
Do not copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer Hookio, or attempt to extract its source code, models, or prompts, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits and you have told us first.
Automated misuse
Do not access Hookio through automated means, scrape it, or send volumes of requests that a person could not generate. Do not probe, scan, or test its security without our written permission, and do not attempt to bypass a rate limit or an access control.
Account sharing
A subscription is for one person. Do not share account credentials, and do not resell or redistribute access to Hookio.
Reporting a problem
If you see Hookio being misused, write to [email protected] with enough detail for us to find it. We look at every report.
If you are a pattern designer and believe someone is using Hookio in a way that infringes your rights, write to [email protected]. Hookio hosts no public library and shows no user anything another user imported, so there is nothing published for us to take down, but we will look into any account you name.
We may suspend an account or end access where this policy is breached. Where we can, we tell you what happened and why.
